Bulky Item Pickup Service
Bulky Item Pickup Service is available for all residents within the Town limits. Once items are placed at the curb, please contact Town Hall for your work order to be generated. Example of items we pickup: Furniture, appliances, mattresses, bicycles. The $20 fee pays for a standard truck bed load in size. Remember: no debris, tires, chemicals, paint, nor building materials.
We provide two FREE Bulky Item Pickup Weeks each year. They will be the last weeks of March and September.
Brush Pickup Service
Each intown resident is limited to a maximum of 4 cubic yards of waste per pickup. Acceptable size: Nothing larger than 3 inches in diameter and nothing longer than 4 feet in length. Please lay brush parallel to the road.
Remember:
We do not pick up brush if using a contractor for your work; it is their responsibility to provide removal.
Loose Leaf Collection Service
Loose Leaf Collection (vacuum service) in the corporate limits takes place November – mid-January. All leaves should be pushed to the curb in a long parallel line adjacent to the road for vacuum collection. No huge piles, please. Do not mix any other yard waste in with your loose leaves. Any leaves placed at the curb after mid-January must be bagged for pickup.
Bagged leaves can be picked up year-round. Notify Town Hall know if you have leaf bags to be picked up at the curb.
Waste Pro Trash & Recycle Collection
The Town of Denton contracts with Waste Pro for our weekly trash and recycle collection.
For road safety, please do not place Trash or Recycle carts on the road.
Pull Trash & Recycle carts back off the curb as soon as possible after they are emptied.
Using the right cart matters!
Carts will not be emptied if unsuitable items are found within.
Blue Lid = Bagged Trash Only
Green Lid = Loose Recyclables Only
Your Lid colors are reflected in the provided calendar.
Blue dates are trash pickup only.
Blue/Green dates are both trash and recycle pickup days.
Holidays are marked in Yellow and Town Hall will be closed on days marked with Pink
