Denton’s downtown gem, Harrison Park, is located on the former homesite of one of Denton’s founders, B.I. Harrison.

The Evelyn Gallimore Pavilion was built as a labor of love by Evelyn’s family and her memorial is the centerpiece of the park.

Harrison Park is home to events hosted by Denton’s Parks & Recreation, the Town and our community. Events include concerts, movies in the park, patriotic holiday services, annual festivals and holiday events for the whole family.

A fenced playground area for kids and landscaped walking path around the park help make this a special place for residents and visitors.
