In case of inclement weather, please take note of the following information:
   If a life-threatening emergency arises, call 911.  Do not call our Police and Fire Departments using their local phone numbers.  The fastest way to report and receive help is by calling 911.
   Payments deposited in the drop box on South Bingham Street will be processed when Town Hall reopens.  For payments other than Town water and sewer, please check your payment due date before placing in drop box. Payments for Duke Energy and Energy United cannot be back dated.  You may need to find an alternate way to make your payment.  Contact your service provider if you have further questions.  Any power outages must be reported to your service provider.
   Town water or sewer line emergencies that are not on personal property can be reported to the Denton Police Department by calling 336-859-2164.  If an officer is not available, your call will be automatically transferred to Davidson County Communications.  Request the officer on duty call you.  The Denton officer will contact you as soon as possible.  The town is responsible for its water and sewer lines only.  If you have a burst or a leak on your property, it is your responsibility to repair.
